Numbing cream - controversial! | General Discussion | Forum

Hi everyone. I'm a forum virgin. So here goes…. I have numerous tattoos – back, wrists, eyeliner, feet and a small one on my ribs. Have always dug the pain, needle noise, endorphin rush/ meditation of tattoos, UNTIL the shitty small one on my ribs. Am wanting to get a large cover-up of black swirly ?rose tatt on ribs but freaking out over the pain level. Can anyone help describe the use of numbing agents eg lignocaine etc. Want I want to know is if it interferes with the ink penetration and if anyone has used it and what is the best cream? Please no 'if u cant handle the pain, dont get a tattoo' answers
